Perseverance and a Hilarious Running Photo
** I wrote this draft over a year ago and recently decided that in the midst of my job search and seemingly endless 'free' time that I should take this whole blogging thing back up. Except for this time I will actually post stuff ... more than once every 9 months (hopefully).
Anyways, thought this was worthy of posting mainly because of the amazing picture of my dear friend Annah and I attempting to run and more importantly because I've spent a lot of time thinking about what motivates people and how they persevere through challenges both big and small.
So enjoy and don't feel guilty if you simply would like to scroll to the bottom to see us take on the Cooper River Bridge in all it's glory.**
"Last night, I watched the Ironman World Championship coverage while I sat on the couch and drank a beer. I am in complete awe of some of these people, that said I kind of think they are crazy. Eighty plus year old people falling again and again on the pavement while striving to cross the finish line.
Here's what the Ironman consists of:

2.4 Mile Open Water Swim
120 Mile Bike
26.2 Mile Marathon Run
