Leggings & Soaps
The following things change when you are home during the day and still wake up at a normal hour...
1. You know what happened on all four hours of the Today show. Effect -- Mark Whalberg's tattoo removal becomes a major headline of the day. Also... have no doubt... you know what the weather is expected to do and will be well equipped.
2. You eat a progressive breakfast. Maybe it's just because clementine's are in season but I can't get enough of breakfast food... In fact it's all I eat. Not that witty of an observation but for the record clementines are close to the world's most perfect food.
3. You slowly begin to change your stance on leggings. I used to be evangelical about the fact that leggings were NOT pants, especially once you are over the age of 9. Slowly, I am becoming one of those people who where leggings anywhere. As a disclaimer: I mainly do this after exercising or pretending too. Sporty chic? Right? Right?
4. You can follow soap opera story lines. The last time I watched Days of our Lives was when I was 9 with one of my best friend's babysitters in between lunch and afternoon swim practice. I have had it on in the background the last few days and can still completely follow. Stefano, Sammy... I am scaring myself.
5. You start planning out how you too can be a famous Mommy Blogger. Mommy and design bloggers have it figured out. It's a toss up between who has a better gig, them or people who work for the Food and Travel Channel. Advantage- Food and Travel Channel.
