Life lately...
"It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are."
- e.e. cummings
I go through phases of being really into quotes. I am definitely in an IN phase right now. I am still in Raleigh, still searching for what to do next and how to avoid being in this same situation next year. Possibly, just possibly this stage is happening for a very specific reason... Perhaps I am not supposed to settle for a "normal" job.
I have traditionally needed large pushes to break from what you are "supposed" to be doing. I'm starting to think that this trial is just that, a BIG push. In the words of my husband, a time to figure out what I'm passionate about and where I want to put my efforts.
I am reluctantly excited about this, and hope to eventually gain enough courage to throw myself all into a BIG idea or to simply stop procrastinating on something small I've always talked about doing. For now, on this Friday I am just excited about getting to drive to see J. and Huck.
Until then... to work I go, accompanied by my new favorite song, Miss Me by Joe Purdy. It fits this rainy, windy day to a tee.
Enjoy.
